This processing method is fast, low-cost, and greatly reduces product development costs, cycles, and risks. It is particularly suitable for the trial production of small batch plastic products with 10-100 pieces. The soft rubber prototype has a relatively soft feel and a hardness generally between 30-90 degrees. Common soft rubber prototype models include remote control button soft rubber prototype, telephone button soft rubber prototype, and some soft rubber prototypes used in other places.

The processing method of soft rubber prototype is relatively simple, and can only be processed by vacuum molding, which is generally divided into three steps.

1. First, use 3D printing or CNC machining to create a prototype. (Generally, a prototype can be replicated 15-20 times)

After the prototype is made, cover the original model with liquid silicone gel, and after the silicone gel solidifies, a silicone model for laminating is formed

After the silicone mold is completed, the next step is injection molding. It is important to note that the edges of the silicone mold must be tightly sealed, leaving only the water outlet. Inject soft rubber liquid from the nozzle, evacuate, and place the mold in an oven to bake, so that the silicone mold can accelerate solidification and molding. Finally, after the soft rubber liquid cools down, the soft rubber prototype can be removed.
